I have a very dear friend that has battled with leukemia for the last two years. It has been so hard to sit by and watch her fight for her life. The battle was long and hard on her body. There was a time when we didn’t think she was going to make it.
Just today, I saw a picture of her playing in the lake on a vacation with her family. It was such a blessing to see how far she has come. A year ago, she was lying on her death bed.
For all of us looking on, seeing her accomplish so much is incredible. To her, it doesn’t seem like she has progressed enough.
When I watched this video, I could see that the woman in it felt the same way my friend has. On the flip side of that, the other people in her life feel the way I have felt toward my friend.
