When she was born, Kai had 50% hearing loss in one ear and 65% in the other. What she could hear sounded like hearing something underwater.
In this video, 4-year-old Kai is getting her first hearing aids. Her parents were quite surprised that this was the first time Kai had ever really heard her own voice.
Luckily, they were able to catch the moment on camera to share their happiness with everyone.
