After being diagnosed with a brain tumor, Charlie Kwentus endured years of treatment and surgeries with the hopes that he could have a few more years with his family.
Charlie’s daughters are only 9 and 13-years-old. And like most fathers, Charlie dreamed of walking his girls down the aisle on their wedding days and of having those very special father-daughter dances with each of them.
But after years of treatments and surgeries that didn’t seem to work, Charlie recently made the tough decision to stop fighting his brain tumor.
Heartbroken by the thought of not being around for those special moments in his girls’ lives, Charlie decided to give them an incredible night chock full of fine memories.
With some help from a very special nonprofit called Annie’s Hope, Charlie and his daughters had a night they’re all sure to remember.
The importance of spending quality time with your family cannot be stressed enough. Even the healthiest of people don’t know when their time will come. Unexpected tragedies strike every day. Appreciate every day like it could be your last.
