Paralyzed Man “Hikes” The Grand Canyon With The Help Of His Loving Family

There is so much in our life that we take for granted until it is too late.

Bob Headings has always been a very active man. He shared his love of being active and outdoors with his three sons, which then passed along to his eight grandsons.

Ten years ago Bob was in an accident and was paralyzed from the waist down. One would think that this would stop him from participating in all of the outdoors activities that he loves to do with his family. But they would be wrong. Bob’s family wouldn’t have it.

This video is about the Headings’ epic adventure as they journey through the Grand Canyon. They are hiking the South Kaibab and Bright Angel Trail, and Bob is coming along. The family has built a special sleigh to transport him along the trails. They said they couldn’t leave the man who built their family. Wait until you see how supportive and encouraging this amazing family is for one another!

Watch the video to meet Bob Heading and his family and please SHARE this with someone you know who would stop at nothing for a great adventure.
