Cutest. Thing. Ever.
You’ve probably already seen the story of Pumpkin, the orphaned raccoon that thinks she’s a dog. In case you haven’t, here’s the 411:
Rosie Kemp found a baby raccoon last year. It had apparently been injured when it fell out of a tree. Rosie couldn’t find the animal’s mother, and the baby raccoon clearly wasn’t old enough to take care of itself yet. So Rosie and her daughter, Laura Young, adopted the orphaned raccoon.
The baby raccoon, which they named “Pumpkin,” has since recovered from her injuries and moved in with Laura and her husband.
“She instantly bonded with us and our two rescue dogs and follows me and our two dogs everywhere we go. She now thinks she is a dog… she is able to play and be rough with them and she respects them when they have had enough,” Laura told The Dodo.
Our Dreams, Answered…
I don’t know about you but even though all the pics of Pumpkin and her dog “siblings” are super cuteness, I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a video. Cuz how cute are videos of animals?
Well… my dreams (and yours too, probably), have been answered. Thankfully, some kind soul has created a video of Pumpkin the raccoon. Check it out below. It starts with a slideshow of pictures but just wait… there are video clips at the end and they are the super cuteness.
